This is a gorgeous large & round low bowl.. Great shape & height for easel display. Measure: 10" wide by 2-3/8" tall. It is from the American brilliant period, (late 1800's to 1915) which is over 100 years old now!
Authentication/Documentation: Maker is Libbey co. And it is signed in the center. It is the pattern is "Empress" which is seen in the catalog references we have so its well documented. Condition: This cut glass is over 120 years old and if you collect this you know the nature of how its found these days..
However- The rim is in great condition for the age and as large as it is. I found no unsightly chips fleabites or wear.
If you feel each finger you might find a microscopic contact nip but I see nothing to be concerned with. Therefore it will be treated as such. I pack to survive, but if they break it I will need pictures to file the claim online. However, shippers do not just honor claims online anymore with the photo's only- now they tend to ask for an inspection of the item.
