This is an Antique Cut Glass "Ferner" with the pedestal base. This is a rare shape, very few are out there in very limited patterns. I have been told this is a shape C F Monroe used mainly. Nice good size for cabinet display or use it for the most amazing dog food bowl ever!
This is 7-3/4" wide top rim by 5-1/2" tall. It is from the American brilliant period, (about 1870 to 1920). This has a great pattern of Hobstars and other geometrics. This is is good condition for its age of 100 years old. Minor scratches inside and on the bottom of the base, which is considered the typical patina these days. Impressive piece with no chips or cracks.Use it or display it. This is for 2 reasons- We sell antiques / vintage goods, therefore they are used, I provide photos of the exact items and not stock pictures so you can always see the exact item you will get.
