Rare Bowl 8, American Brilliant period Cut Glass Crystal Prism Fans & Hobstars

This is an antique cut glass Shallow / Low Bowl. Measures : 8" wide by 1-3/4" tall/deep. This one is very sparkly, clear and heavy. Design name is unknown, it was cut on a heavy quality blank (does not feel or look figured). The pattern is well cut consisting of Hobstar columns accented with single stars, alternating with large prism notched fans.

The rim has traditional sawteeth and scallops with "coin edge" cutting. I have seen the pattern twice, one this bowl and a shallow 8 bowl I have. It is very similar to "Iris" by Niagara and a Known Straus pattern.

This is a 100+ year old bowl. I found No chips or fleabites or issues with any of the teeth around the rim. The inside and outside look good with no scratching.

The outer pattern even looks good because normally you see little fleabites in fans but this one is not chipped on on the outside. This is the perfect design and shape for easel display.
