This is a lovely antique cut glass bowl. A lobed "blow out" shape that is great for display. This is known as the "Pinto" design cut by Pitkin & Brooks. I know it is shown in the Ever's book on pg. It is a known piece but extremely rare. This thickness & weight of the bowl is extra special - 1/2 thick at the rim and a special shape too. Measure: 10" wide by 3" tall. This is American Brilliant Period cut glass made (1870- 1920). Condition: This is over 100 years old. There is no obvious or visible damage- just some of the tiny rough spots and micro nips that are typical and not considered an issue on the top rim.. There may be micro nips that are not noticeable hidden in the pattern (these are typical on all pieces these days like regular age patina). It is still a nice clear bowl great for display See pics, I always go around the rim close-up- no efforts to hide anything here. Scratches on base are typical from surface contact. No unsightly chips or dings that cause issues.
