Skinner & Sons, Pitkin & Brooks, Quaker City, Elite, C F monroe. Condition: This cut glass is over 100 years old. Bowl 1: Most typical of the wear you find on these is the "contact nips" around the inside of the bowl that are so microscopic that no one could ever see it.. Beyond that, I see 2 teeth with very minor wear which I point to with my finger- I do not believe anyone would notice this common minor wear and it does not detract from the beauty like large chips would.
There is also a small ding inside the bottom of the bowl from use... I go around the entire rim for you to see in the pics! Bowl 2: Looks really good with the most minor contact roughness on some teeth but nothing that anyone would notice or detracts from the beauty. Since this bowl looks good there was no need for close ups of anything but there is a couple rim shots. Therefore it will be treated as such. I pack to survive, but if they break it I will need pictures to file the claim online. However, shippers do not just honor claims online anymore with the photo's only- now they tend to ask for an inspection of the item.
