This is from the American Brilliant period (1870 to 1915). This was made by H. P Sinclaire co- known for thin elegant high quality blanks with well cut geometrics and realistic engravings. This bowl is signed in the center on front with the S wreath mark.
This is over 100 years old.. There is 1 flat flake fleabite on the top of the rim that hides well since its smooth there and it is a flat flake. If desired a repair person could polish it right out but not necessary as no one would notice it and it causes no issues.I found a pinpoint size indent on the inside of the rim that no one will ever see. There are very minor scuffs/ scratches on bottom from surface wear which is appropriate patina.
This is for 2 reasons- We sell antiques / vintage goods, therefore they are used, I provide photos of the exact items and not stock pictures so you can always see the exact item you will get.
