This is a Gorgeous Antique cut glass Large Low Bowl. Measures: 10" wide, by 2-1/4" tall. It is from the American brilliant period, (late 1800's to 1915). Which is over 100 years old now! This is a thick, heavy & earlier pattern on an earlier blank (great quality).
This pattern is called "Marilyn" and it is seen in the red cover book. Designed by W C Anderson when he worked for Libbey, so it has those fun elements like miter accent cutting and unique stars he was known to use. This is a rare piece, with a large size great for easel display- by a great company in a great pattern.
Condition: It will display well, and looks fabulous. I found no large fleabites or obvious chips, but it does have some of the typical microscopic roughness nips that bowls get over 120 years. Bottom is in good condition and not banged up so it presents and displays beautifully in a large sturdy easel. This one a thick glass blank, with good clarity. This is for 2 reasons- We sell antiques / vintage goods, therefore they are used, I provide photos of the exact items and not stock pictures so you can always see the exact item you will get.
