Caboret Handled Bowl American Brilliant Period Cut Glass Crystal Fry Florabelle

This is a lovely cut glass Double Handled "Caboret" Bowl. This is a bowl open bowl with no dividers inside. Measures: 8 wide top rim. This is from the American Brilliant period (1870 to 1920's). The pattern "Florabelle" is seen in the Fry Society Encyclopedia (plate 129 &131)as unidentified Florals. However as a researcher for the ACGA we had materials from a c. Due to the Retail resource, we were able to share this information with the Fry society group on a corset vase to finally give their collectors the real pattern name for this line. It was cut on many shapes so there are lots to collect, but this is a very rare piece being the shape that it is. It is in a gorgeous pattern by a great company- good enough condition for any collector's shelf too. Condition: It is over 100 years old so its really nice for the age and typical condition these days.. There are a few minor typical "contact nips" around the outside or inside of the sawtooth rim which are typical, but they are so small no one will notice them- no missing teeth or teeth with altered shape. Handles are not cracked or damaged. See pictures of the rim in the close ups.
