This is a gorgeous cut glass bowl! It is huge and heavy. Measure: 9" wide, by 4-1/2" tall.It is from the American brilliant period, (late 1800's to 1915) which is over 100 years old now! Authentication/Documentation: This is a rare Canadian piece, cut by Roden Bros. Of Toronto during the Brilliant period. It is signed in the center with the lion and gothic R mark. They called it #307-9 but collectors know this as an "Expanding Star" pattern.
Expanding Stars were cut by many companies but the Roden Bros did it in one of the best ways it can be seen. Condition: This is a gorgeous bowl made over 100 years ago. I see no rim damage and the bottom is good besides normal age scratches. Therefore it will be treated as such.
I pack to survive, but if they break it I will need pictures to file the claim online. However, shippers do not just honor claims online anymore with the photo's only- now they tend to ask for an inspection of the item.
