A stunning Baccarat Crystal decanter, from the Fantaisie / Tsar range, this one the rare "Banjo" design. The decanter is hand blown and cut amethyst-to-clear colour. Very deep rich colour with the original mushroom stopper. These appear in the Baccarat "Catalogue Art de La Table" catalogue of 1916, page 61, in the "Fantaisie" section within the "Tsar" range - please see scan above, top right decanter. Please see above for quantity available.

Price is for the piece. This would be pre-etched markings and would originally have the Baccarat paper labels. Measures 17 / 43 cm tall.

Item is in excellent condition - used. Some light signs of wear, commensurate with age, which may be visible to the underside / base. There is one small chip to the rim, which could be restored, one pin-prick sized gap to the side where the amethyst flashing hasn't taken to the base layer and a small mark to the neck - all are in the images above.
