Wonderful early 19th century French Ormolu Mounted Crystal Bronze Casket Jewelry Box.. Executed using heavy Baccarat cut crystal glass with diamond cut top and a starburst design on the bottom. A early superb French glass Casket. This fine box is decorated with high quality ormolu mounts.

The condition is very fine. Gilt fittings, hinge, and escutcheon (no key).

Larger than most standing 4.75" tall, 5.5" wide, and 4 deep. An absolute work of art.

Only one tiny smooth chip at bottom front edge (1/8). Please see pics as they are integral to condition and represent this beautiful piece very well. Came from an affluent NYC estate.
