Antique American Brilliant Period (ABP) Set of 9 "HAWKES" Engraved Cut Crystal Water/Wine Goblets with Sheraton Border (7 inches). This listing is for a stunning antique set 9. Cut crystal goblets in the discontinued Sheraton Border Pattern also known as Pattern #6030. The glasses are 7 inches tall in wonderful condition with no nicks, chips, flakes, cracks or repairs. These are Art Deco period pieces and are over 100 years old.
These beautiful goblets date from the early 20th century and belonged to a friend's late grandparents who owned and operated a high end hotel near Corning, New York during the first part of the 20th century. Please note we have included a couple of photos of the bowl with some of these goblets. This listing is for the nine crystal goblets only. Please see Barbara's Backdoor Store. The goblets measure 7 inches tall with a 3-1/2 inch rim and a 3 inch round base. Notes: Thomas Gibbons Hawkes of Corning, New York established the Hawkes Cut Glass Works in Corning New York in 1880 and made the finest glassware until 1962.
By 1890 the firm became incorporated as T. The company was known for their expert glass cutting. Over the 82 years that HAWKES was in business the company was well known for producing cut glass of impeccable quality and design. European royalty and United States Presidents were owners of HAWKES unique cut glass.
