Albert Bodemer Swan Cut Crystal & Sterling Silver Caviar Dish / Master Salt

Welcome to ANTIQUES & MOORE! This listing is for a beautiful cut crystal caviar dish or master salt in the shape of a swan with Sterling Silver wings and neck. This item was made by Albert Bodemer in Germany in the 1950's and 60's. The swan's wings are hinged and swing open or closed.

The silver has a reticulated/pierced design with an elaborate embossed frolicking cherubs design in the center of each wing. 835 silver as well as. 925 (Sterling Silver) both wings are marked.

925 indicating them to be Sterling Silver. Measures 5 1/4" high, 5 1/8" long and 2 5/8" wide (inside crystal base) or about 4 3/4" wide with wings in closed position.

This nice item is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws to the glass or to the silver. Have been in the Antiques business for over 30 years and try to describe our items as accurately as possible.
