This is one elegant Compote in a rose pattern! Measure: Compote is 8" tall by 6" wide. It is from the American brilliant period, (late 1800's to 1920 roughly) which is over 100 years old now!

This is a known pattern shown in ABPCG Books as "Combination Rose" and other names- but to this date we do not know the exact maker of this pattern. I have seen many shapes in this pattern.

You can collect a whole matching line if you keep watching the rose cut patterns that pop up for sale! This has a Great geometric pattern of Cane Chains, vessica's containg hobstars and hobnail, and these amazing step cut petal Open Roses! Condition: This is 100+ years old. But this one is considered in good condition for its age. I see no top rim chips, or unsightly wear that changes the shape of the teeth or anyone would notice. It does have some minor microscopic nips & tiny nips that are basically invisible and acquired with age- these are common but well hidden in the rims. Minor age scratches are common on base and typical patina- no one notices these.

Therefore it will be treated as such. I pack to survive, but if they break it I will need pictures to file the claim online. However, shippers do not just honor claims online anymore with the photo's only- now they tend to ask for an inspection of the item.
