This is from the American Brilliant period (1870 to 1920's). This pattern is called "Marquise" and found on pg. 10 of the Egginton co.
This pattern is known to be found on better quality glass "Blanks". With quality clear bright white & heavy best quality blanks and the extremely fine detailed cutting. Everyone loves Egginton's easily recognized designs. Condition: It is over 100 years old. I see no unsightly obvious rim chips or chunks, no missing teeth. There is a tiny bit of typical micro "contact nips" inside the top rim that no one will see, as it is well hidden and does not detract from the beauty. There is also a couple small fleabites that are well hidden I will point out on the a couple teeth. This is in pretty decent condition for its age.
This is for 2 reasons- We sell antiques / vintage goods, therefore they are used, I provide photos of the exact items and not stock pictures so you can always see the exact item you will get.
