This is a Gorgeous Round Serving Bowl. Measures: 8" wide by 3-1/2" tall. This is signed in the center with the star circle mark. The pattern is very nice consisting of prisms and hobstars. Condition: This is 0ver 100 years old- but for the age this one is in pretty good condition.
The rim has no damage and the teeth are the original shape with none missing. I only found the micro size roughness on the inside called "contact nips" that is not really visible. I found 1 small flake hiding in a miter in the pattern, also nothing anyone would notice- see pictures. The blank itself is heavy, extremely bright and light refractive for the high quality Libbey was known for. It is from the American brilliant period, (late 1800's to 1915) which is over 100 years old now! I know what "ABP cut glass" is. I never sell other types of glass as ABP cut glass so you can be assured this is genuine.
Unfortunately today so many resellers are not educated in Cut glass and misrepresent their items, and use google images for research which gives them incorrect info. This is for 2 reasons- We sell antiques / vintage goods, therefore they are used, I provide photos of the exact items and not stock pictures so you can always see the exact item you will get.
