This is a beautiful & large Oblong Bowl -This is known as a Napoleon Hat Bowl- see it upside in the photo and you will see why, lol. This shape is getting hard to find these days. Measure: 14-1/2" long by 8-1/2" wide by 4 tall. It is from the American brilliant period, (late 1800's to 1920 roughly) which is over 100 years old now!

This piece is commonly referred to as "the floral period" which is the later half of the Brilliant period into the elegant period when the glass houses transitioned to the next era. Info: This is the pattern "Daisy & Harvard" (generic name). Consisting of "chair bottom" Cane made a from double miter intersecting grid and crosshatched hobs.

Lots of bling and sparkle from the geometric border all the way around! There is a lovely floral of a 8 petal cut daisy with hexad centers & lots clear cut wedge leaves. Condition: This is 100+ years old by now.

It is gorgeous for display or use. It does have the tiny contact fleabites nips here or there on the rim that no one notices.

But it also has 2 teeth that have chips enough to change the shape of those 2 teeth. Luckily the teeth were cut somewhat flat to begin with do the 2 chipped teeth are not as noticeable- see last pictures.

This piece has been openly displayed for over 10 years in my personal collection- it displays nicely. Therefore it will be treated as such.
