American Brilliant period compote bowl. Cut crystal. Hobstars. 8.5 pounds

Very beautiful cut glass bowl from the American Brilliant period of glass cutting. This large bowl / compote has a small pedestal base with large hobstar pattern and the sides have half circle cuts along the upper rim and along the bottom above the base. A very skilled cutting job and estimated from the 1910's. In excellent condition with only one small 1/8 chip along the inner rim (see last 2 photo's with arrows). 12" wide with a 9.5" rim and is 5.5 tall and weighs a nice hefty 8.5 pounds.
